Itinerary
- Your Bhutanese adventure begins with a warm welcome from our team at Bagdogra airport. From there, we’ll embark on a captivating 4-hour journey to Jaigaon (adjoining border of India & Bhutan). Upon arrival in Jaigaon, we’ll continue to Phuentsholing for an overnight stay, allowing you to relax and prepare for the exciting days ahead.
- After a restful night, start your day with a delightful breakfast. Obtain permits at Bhutan Immigration office with assistance from our Bhutanese Govt Guide . This marks the beginning of an enchanting 6-hour, 172 km journey to Thimphu, the vibrant capital city of Bhutan. On this journey, you’ll have the privilege of witnessing stunning waterfall , small villages to reach Thimphu, check into the hotel & if time allows you can go out & explore Thimphu city which is known as the only city in the world without Traffic signals.
- After breakfast in Thimphu, head to Punakha. On the way, stop at Dochu La, a scenic mountain pass offering stunning views of the Himalayas and the 108 Druk WangyalChortens. Continue to the famous Punakha Suspension Bridge. After lunch, visit ChimiLhakhang, the Temple of Fertility, dedicated to the Divine Madman. End the day by experiencing the vibrant nightlife of Thimphu.
- Post Breakfast embark on a scenic journey from Thimphu to Paro, After breakfast, enjoy a local sightseeing tour of Thimphu, visiting Simply Bhutan and the Buddha Statue. Later, prepare for your transfer to Paro. In the evening, Upon arrival in Paro, check in to your hotel, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Paro.
- Today’s adventure is truly unforgettable—a full-day hike to the iconic Taktsang Lhakhang, also known as the Tiger’s Nest Monastery. The hike, which takes about 2 to 3 hours each way, is both challenging and immensely rewarding, leading you through picturesque pine forests. Upon reaching the monastery, you’ll be captivated by its breathtaking beauty as it clings to the cliffside. After exploring this revered site, return to Paro for a well-deserved overnight rest, carrying with you memories of this awe-inspiring trek.
- As our Bhutanese journey approaches its conclusion, we bid farewell to Paro and journey back to Phuentsholing. En-route, we’ll take you to several notable sights, allowing you to soak in the rich cultural and natural wonders of Bhutan. Arriving in Phuentsholing, we will be changing our cars to Indian Taxi and will start our drive to reach the last destination of the trip Siliguri . Have dinner & overnight stay at hotel in Siliguri .
- It’s time to bid farewell to the enchanting land of Bhutan. After a delicious final breakfast, we’ll assist you with the check-out process from the hotel. Our team will then ensure a safe and comfortable breakfast in Siliguri, marking the end of this remarkable Bhutanese adventure.
